The founding beta

Free for flooring retailers while the beta runs

When the pilot opens, it opens as a free beta. Flooring retailers pay nothing to use the marketplace while it runs, and the plan is to run it for around three months. No card needed. The dates and the final terms are not settled yet, and nothing moves from free to paid without us telling you first.

What you are getting

The whole marketplace, with the meter off

The beta is not a sample or a taster. It is the ordinary way of using MyFloorPro, free for flooring retailers for a period planned at around three months.

01

Posting jobs

Put up the jobs you need covered: the flooring, the area, the dates and what is involved.

02

Matching and alerts

We work out which installers suit each job and let them know, so the interested ones can put their hands up.

03

Capacity Radar and invitations

Look at who has room, shortlist, and invite the installers that suit the work.

04

Introductions

When you and an installer both say you want to talk, the details are swapped. During the beta that costs you nothing.

None of this is switched on yet. The beta starts when the pilot opens, and we will confirm the dates then. Installers pay nothing during the beta, and ordinary taking part is meant to stay free for them after it.

Why it is free

The matching has to earn its keep first

We are asking retailers and installers to trust a new way of finding each other. Charging for it before it has proven itself would be backwards.

The beta is there to prove that a posted job reaches the right installers, to build up enough retailers and installers in each area for that to keep happening, and to find the problems while nobody is paying. What we learn decides what gets fixed and built next.

After the beta, the plan stays the same as it has always been: the retailers that need installers fund the site through one fixed introduction fee, and installers are not charged to find or win work. We will publish any pricing before the beta ends, and nothing moves from free to paid without us telling you first. There is no card on file, so there is nothing to quietly charge.

The conditions

What the offer covers

All of it in plain English. We will publish the formal terms before the pilot opens.

How the free beta works

Not signed off yet

“When the pilot opens, it opens as a free beta. Flooring retailers pay nothing to use the marketplace while it runs, and the plan is to run it for around three months.” Here is what that means in practice. None of it is final until we publish the offer terms.

  • The free beta covers flooring retailers using the marketplace in the ordinary way: posting jobs, being matched with installers, alerts, invitations and introductions.
  • The plan is to run it for around three months from the day the pilot opens. We will confirm the dates when it starts.
  • No payment card is needed at any point during the beta.
  • Installers pay nothing during the beta, and ordinary taking part is meant to stay free for them after it.
  • The beta is there to prove the matching, build up coverage area by area, and find the problems while nobody is paying.
  • Any pricing that follows gets published before the beta ends. Nothing moves from free to paid without us telling you first.
  • It does not promise a suitable installer will be free in your area, or that a posted job gets a response.
