MyFloorPro is being built to give you another way in: post the job once, and we put it in front of installers who lay that flooring, cover your area and suit the work. You can also look for yourself at who has room. Joining is free while we build it.

The installer has to suit the floor
Anyone with a van won’t do. If it is commercial sheet vinyl you need someone who can cove and weld it. If there is prep involved you need someone with a grinder who knows what they are looking at. Finding the right person for that particular floor is the hard part, and no list tells you who it is.
Jobs turn up outside your patch
A job lands two hours away, or a crew pulls out on the Thursday before a Monday start. Someone out there could cover it. You just have no way of knowing who.
Hours on the phone
Ringing down your contact list asking whether anyone is free in a fortnight is a rotten way to spend an afternoon, and the answers are out of date by the following week.
Nobody tells you when they are free
Even the installers you have used for years don’t ring to say a job fell over. That spare week stays invisible unless you happen to call on the right day.

The matching is the main piece of work: you post the job, we work out which installers suit it and let them know, the interested ones put their hands up, and you choose who to talk to. Capacity Radar adds the other direction, showing you who has room before you post anything. None of it is live yet.
What it costs
Free during the beta. One fixed fee after.
Joining costs nothing, and so does posting a job, searching, shortlisting and sending an invitation. While the founding beta runs, introductions cost nothing either. Once fees begin, you only pay when you and the installer have both said you want to talk and we hand over the contact details.

The fee, plainly
Once fees begin, a flooring retailer pays one fixed fee each time an introduction goes ahead. It is not a percentage, it does not change with the size of the job, and we take no cut of the installer's labour. Nothing is charged during the free beta, and we will publish the fee before anyone is asked to pay it.
We might offer monthly software later on, but you will never need it to get an introduction. There is more detail on the costs page.
The founding beta

When the pilot opens, it opens as a free beta. Flooring retailers pay nothing to use the marketplace while it runs, and the plan is to run it for around three months. No card needed. The dates and the final terms are not settled yet, and nothing moves from free to paid without us telling you first.

- The free beta covers flooring retailers using the marketplace in the ordinary way: posting jobs, being matched with installers, alerts, invitations and introductions.
- The plan is to run it for around three months from the day the pilot opens. We will confirm the dates when it starts.
- No payment card is needed at any point during the beta.
- Installers pay nothing during the beta, and ordinary taking part is meant to stay free for them after it.
- The beta is there to prove the matching, build up coverage area by area, and find the problems while nobody is paying.
- Any pricing that follows gets published before the beta ends. Nothing moves from free to paid without us telling you first.
- It does not promise a suitable installer will be free in your area, or that a posted job gets a response.
